Romeo & Juliet
Study for typograpfy
For my study on typography we had to use a phrase from a play or a song text and make a nice typo composition of it. I thought i use the famous Hamlet play Romeo and Juliet and use Juliet's famous line 'O Romeo, Romeo. Wherefour art thou?'.
I tried to avoid the hart shape at first because this is an icon, but it seemed to work best in this case. After some scribbling with a caligraf pen i turned to Illustrator to get more control on each line. Using a brush i got a nice old fashion caligraf feel to the whole thing.
The Illustrator version using a brush.
Here i went banana's in Photoshop.
In the end i decided there was to much distraction. Here's the nice clean final version of it.
